The Eight League is more than a competition—it is a community-driven appraisal of futuristic skating and art. Here is how your team earns points and payouts.

1. Submission & Approval

Before any voting begins, all video submissions must be approved by the Eight League for quality and safety. Once approved, the video is submitted to the exclusive #HoverHeads Patreon Group.

2. The Tiered Scoring System

The #HoverHeads on Patreon will vote to categorize the submission into one of five tiers. Each tier carries a specific point value:

Ground Level	5 Pts	Solid baseline performance and execution.
Rising Force	10 Pts	Demonstrates growth and notable skill.
Synchronized	15 Pts	Exceptional coordination between skater, scientist, and filmmaker.
High-Concept	20 Pts	Advanced creative vision and technical execution.
Revolutionary	25 Pts	A complete paradigm shift in skating and digital art.

3. The Final Showdown (Global Vote)

Once the Patreon phase concludes, the stakes move to the public:

• The Matchup: The two highest-scoring videos from the #HoverHeads Patreon will go head-to-head.

• Contingencies: * If only one high score is selected, it will face off against the next lowest score.

  • If only the "Ground Level" score is selected, the final vote will be between 5 Pts and 2.5 Pts.

• Platforms: The final 24-hour vote takes place across all platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).

• Timeline: The Patreon review lasts 21 days, followed by the 24-hour global voting window. Once the global clock stops, points are officially locked.

4. Earnings & Payouts

Points aren't just for ranking; they are direct currency for the team.

• Performance Pay: Teams earn $0.25 per point earned.

• Sponsor Share: In addition to point-based earnings, teams receive their allotted share from league sponsors.
